INDIA TRAVELS TO WORK

Every morning I leave for office,

In my fancy motor car,

Likewise so do many others,

Travelling to offices near and far.

That’s how India travels to work,

By cycle, scooter, auto, bus and train,

Though each day’s challenges differ,

The journey is the same, over & over again.

It often makes me wonder,

How much of machine, is our society

All parts – be they big or small,

Just have to run in organised unity.

For each of us is important,

In our own very special way,

With this positive thought in mind,

I leave for my office today!
