The sweetness of the bananas & a 7-year-old’s smile… so so similiar
I Smile When I See Them Together
She at 7 made some BANANA MUFFINS and she proudly presented them to her mom and the proud mom had a drop in her eyes. And so when I heard this, I decided to show all young angels how to easily make them and win over mom and daddy.
So here I go….. Sweet And Simple:
HERE’S BANANA MUFFINS MADE EASY
- FLOUR — 1 1/2 cups
- BAKING POWDER — 1 Teaspoon
- BAKING SODA — 1 Teaspoon
- SALT — A Pinch
- BANANAS — 3 LARGE (MASHED)
- HONEY — 1 Cup
- EGG — 1
- BUTTER — 1/3 Cup (Melted)
- CINNAMON POWDER — 1/2 Tsp
- NUTMEG POWDER — 1/2 Tsp
Now put on a SMILE and an APRON and get going –
To begin, pre-heat oven at 375 degrees.
Add honey to the mashed bananas and mix well.
Heat a pan and add butter to it. Put half of the mashed bananas in the pan and cook for 5 minutes.
Pour this cooked mixture into the rest of the Banana puree and add a pinch of salt to this.
Fold one beaten egg along with the flour, baking powder, cinnamon powder, nutmeg powder and baking soda into this banana puree mixture.
Remember to fold in and not beat. Keep it light and airy.
Pour in pre-oiled muffin makers or if you do not have those then use small round-shaped glass bowls.
Bake for 25 minutes. Let them cool.
And VOILA, READY TO SERVE.
You can decorate them a bit using some honey syrup and some silver sugar balls and serve in a beautiful tray adorned with the SWEETEST SMILE and a twinkle in your eyes.
