Top 10 Hindi Songs—-2011(Part-2)

…continuing from the previous post where FOUR SONGS were shared while compiling the list, namely:

  1. Aankhein Band Keejay Na from Saat Khoon Maaf
  2. Kitney Dafey from Tanu Weds Manu
  3. Sadda Haque Itthey Rakh from Rockstar
  4. Kun Faya Kun from Rockstar

Now, while presenting here the rest of the top notch SIX winner Hindi soundtracks that Bollywood came up with… and believe me when I CALL THE NAMES, it is tough… really tough to decide which song to choose and which to leave… as there are so many musical delights in the Bollywood Calendar 2011.

Therefore, here’s the NEXT THREE SONGS of the LIST (…and may you wait for the rest three in the last and final edition of this series, in the subsequent post):

5. Saibo from Shor In The City [March – April 2011] – Lyrics: Sameer; additional lyrics: Priya Panchal; Music: Sachin-Jigar; Singers: Shreya Ghoshal, Tochi Raina.

Oh…………!!!!!! How beautifully he sings and she follows…….

“Surkhiyan hai hawaon mein
Do dilon ki milne ki…….

Ho ho Arziyan hai nazaron mein
Lamha yeh tham jane ki…..”

And She sings ever so softly…..

“Kaise huzur ji yeh lab dikhlaye

Chuppi bhi lagake bhi gazab hai yeh dhaye”…….!!!!!!!!

For you to drown in the magic of Saibo———

6. Accha Lagta Hai from Aarakshan [July 2011] – Lyrics: Prasoon Joshi; Music: Shankar Ehsaan Loy; Singers:Mohit Chauhan, Shreya Ghoshal.

Ahh I love it when He shakes his head and says no ……….

And she asks him…..

“Khusboo se behlao na
Seedhe point pe.. aao na
Aaankh mein aankhein
Daal ke kehdo
Khwaabon mein tehlao na
Zara short mein batlao na
Seedhe point pe.. aao na…………!

A dreamy song where he is falling in love with her and is loving each and every move of hers….. and he sings….

“Alag ehsaas hota hai
Tumhare paas hone ka
Sarakti sarsarahat ki nadi
Mein reshmi lamhein
Bhigone ka……..

Achhhhhhhaaa lagtaa haaaiiii……………!!!

7. The year ended on a LOUD NOTE with Dirty Picture‘s Ooh La La Lyrics: Rajat Aroraa; Music: Vishal-Shekhar; Singers: Bappi Lahiri, Shreya Ghoshal.

Now what do I say about this song ………………

Elaborate sets…… Beaded navel ….. garish colours…. loud movements…. oooohhhhhhhhhh … Bed of oranges…a fabulously exotic Vidya Balan and a lecherous Naseeruddin Shah at his best. It takes back to the 80’s and what a beat…..

Oooohhhh llllaaaa laaaaaaaaa laaaaaaa……………..!!!!!!!

To be contd…………
