After their pilot Screenwriters Lab in 2009 for 10 talented writer’s, Performing Arts Labs and Eleeanora Images are producing an expanded 2nd edition of this unique writer’s laboratory in 2012 at KIIT University, Odisha, for up to 18 talented writers to develop original scripts ready for pre-production.

What kinds of stories is the Green Screen Lab looking for?

The Green Screen Lab programme will look for writers with stories and film projects which are relevant to the lives and experiences of children in the Indian Sub-continent today, and which also have the potential to compete in international markets. Emerging and experienced writers will be able to develop their ideas with advice from an international talent pool of writers, producers, directors and actors whose work is of the highest quality. Together they will aim to build a new movement of Indian family film with commercial co-production potential.

Who can apply?

Whilst application to the Lab is open to writers of any age, the professional standards of this programme would be challenging to writers who do not yet have some proven experience of their work being published, performed or filmed. Scripts can be at an early or later stage of development.
