It’s Movie Time friends and we have just one release this week with Shah Rukh Khan hitting the silver screen on ‘Chennai Express’.
Together with King Khan, is Deepika Padukone who has been paired opposite him for the first time after they did ‘Om Shanti Om’ together in 2007.
‘Om Shanti Om’ made Deepika a star while Shah Rukh did all kinds of roles these years with critical acclaims, and this time they deliver action, comedy and romance via ‘Chennai Express’. Aren’t you waiting for Deepika to start speaking in the movie if you have watched its trailers?
The movie is directed by ‘Golmal’ Rohit Shetty and produced by Shah Rukh Khan’s wife Gauri under her Red Chillies Entertainment banner. As said, Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone are in lead roles, with some awesome aerial shoots and hilarious dialogues.
Chennai Express is about a north Indian man’s travel from Mumbai to Rameshwaram in South India. Watch the movie to know what happens in the journey.
Does the movie start from where ‘Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jaayenge’ ends, at a platform! Or does Bollywood chooses Shah Rukh Khan to carry the ashes like Preity Zinta does in ‘Veer Zaara’ to carry forward a tale of romance!
‘Chennai Express’ cannot be booked at the Indian Railway reservation website … that in any case is always non-functional… and you have to watch it in cinema halls where it has already been flagged off. The million dollar question however is… will the train hit the roof this Eid!
The music of the film is composed by the duo Vishal-Shekhar while Amitabh Bhattacharya has penned the lyrics. In this movie, S. P. Balasubrahmanyam also returns to Bollywood as a singer after 15 years.
