Well, the week just rushed by. Sometimes the clock just rolls over and one feels that 24 hours are less for what we have to do. So here comes our favourite day of the week – Friday and here we are with the releases this week on Movie Time.
We see many releases this awesome weekend: Parathe Waali Gali, Om Dar B Dar, Miss Lovely, Karle Pyaar Karle, The Legend Of Hercules 3D, American Hustle, Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit and Carrie.
OM DAR B DAR: (Hindi)
The movie was made in 1988 but never got released. NFDC then decided in 2013 to release Om Dar B Dar in India and so after 25 years of making, this Friday it releases in India. Directed by Kamal Swaroop, the film is about the life of a school boy Om. The cast includes Anita Kanwar, Aditya Lakhia and Gopi Desai. Om Dar B Dar also received the Films Critics Award for the best film in 1989 at the Berlin Festival.
MISS LOVELY: (Hindi)
A movie based on the making of C-grade and porn movies in the 1980’s background. Directed by Ashim Ahluwalia, this is a drama film and the cast includes Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Anil George and Niharika Singh.
KARLE PYAAR KARLE: (Hindi)
The story of two childhood friends who love each other. Directed by Rajesh Pandey and produced by Suneel Darshan, Karle Pyaar Karle is a romantic Hindi film which is the debut of Shiv Darshan and Hasleen Kaur in Bollywood.
PARATHE WALI GALI: (Hindi)
A love story in the lanes of old Delhi where a boy and a girl from two different backgrounds go through life’s ups and downs and love takes the last call. Directed by Sachin Gupta who is an award winning playwright and theater director, ‘Parathe Wali Gali’ is a romantic comedy film. The cast includes Anuj Saxena and Neha Pawar.
THE LEGEND OF HERCULES 3D: (English)
Another movie on Hercules and this time it is in 3D. Directed by Renny Harlin, this is an action fantasy film. The cast includes Kellan Lutz and Gais Weiss.
AMERICAN HUSTLE: (English)
Three Golden Globe awards winner and Oscar nominated, American Hustle is a crime comedy drama film. Directed by David O. Russell, the cast includes Christian Bale, Bradley Cooper, Amy Adams and Jennifer Lawrence. The story has two con artists who along with an FBI agent stage up some sting operations to uncover some politicians which includes the mayor and his unpredictable wife too. After winning so many awards and being nominated for more, American Hustle now comes to the Indian Box Office.
JACK RYAN: SHADOW RECRUIT: (English)
Directed by Kenneth Branagh, this is the fifth in the Jack Ryan series. Based on the novels by Tom Clancy, this series comes back with a different story this time which is written by Hossien Amini.The character of Jack Ryan is played this time by Chris Pine.
CARRIE: (English)
The story of a simple girl who is craving for some attention and then she develops some supernatural powers. Directed by Kimberly Peirce, Carrie is a supernatural horror film and the cast includes Chloe Grace Moretz and Julianne Moore.
