MOVIE TIME – India Box Office

Here comes another Friday and this one is not a busy one. We see only one release this weekend – “Jai Ho”.

Jai Ho 1This week Salman Khan is back with another action packed drama film in which he starts a nation-wide movement to keep the good alive and kill the evil. Isn’t our society witnessing more and more good people coming up forward to the make this world a better place to live in? Jai Ho’s Salman plays on screen a similar do-gooder who fights injustice, leading to a chain reaction all over.

Directed by Sohail Khan, the story is about Jai, a man who starts a movement from his town in which he will help three persons and in return they will help another set of three persons. So the whole nation will be served in the process. Sunil Lulla and Sohail Khan have produced the movie while the story is by A.R. Murugadoss (based on the Telugu film ‘Stalin’ which tried to convey the message that a simple idea can make a big difference to our society).

Jai HoThe cast of Jai Ho includes Tabu, newcomer Daisy Shah, Suniel Shetty, Nadira Babbar, Mahesh Manjrekar and Danny Denzongpa. Music in Jai Ho is on the romantic track. The song ‘Tere naina bade qatil, Maar hi daalenge’ is hummable. The title song is one with zest and power.

After a busy weekend last week this week you can relax and enjoy the one release Jai Ho. So are you going to ‘take a stand’ as Salman shows some more stunts this time, fighting his war all alone! Movie goers can also watch another one-man struggle drama in theatres “Mandela: Long Walk To Freedom”, based on late South African president Nelson Mandela’s autobiography of the same name.
