MOVIE TIME – India Box Office

Another week follows and some more excitement is lined up for everyone. This week we have ‘Shaadi Ke Side Effects’, ‘Mr. Peabody and Sherman’, ‘Non-Stop’, ‘Dallas Buyers Club’ and ‘Nebraska’.


Shaadi Ke Side EffectsPritish Nandy Communications and Balaji Motion Pictures bring us Shaadi Ke Side Effects which is directed by Saket Chowdhary. It is a sequel to his directorial debut ‘Pyaar Ke Side Effects’ (2006). The cast includes Farhan Akhtar, Vidya Balan, Ram Kapoor and Vir Das.

A comedy which reflects the daily chores of life … once they were called love and romance.

Mr.-Peabody-and-ShermanMR. PEABODY AND SHERMAN (English)

A 3D science fiction animation film directed by Rob Minkoff with star voice overs by Ty Burrell, Max Charles and Ariel Winter has the story about a talking dog Mr. Peabody and his adopted master Sherman and their adventures in life.

Non-StopNON-STOP (English)

An adventure, action-thriller film about a journey on a non-stop international flight from New York to London directed by Jaume Collet-Serra with Julianne Moore and Liam Neeson in the main lead. So fasten your seatbelts for an airborne thriller, and there’s a terrific fight scene in the toilet too with some serious fisticuffs at very close quarters with more punches that you can believe… all happening in this suspense thriller played out at 40,000 feet in the air.

Dallas-Buyers-ClubDALLAS BUYERS CLUB (English)

A biographical drama directed by Jean-Marc Vallie has Matthew McConaughney, Jennifer Garner and Jared Leto in the lead. The story takes you to Dallas where a homophobic Rodeo cowboy is detected with HIV virus and then how he decides to fight back with the dreaded disease. The movie has many award nominations.


Bruce Dern plays Woody who travels up to Nebraska to get his million dollars promised to him. He has a family who does not believe him. But he is adamant and so the adventure begins. Nebraska is directed by Alexander Payne and the cast includes Bruce Dern, Will Forte and June Squibb. Watch it to know why the critics are calling the film an American masterpiece coming from Academy Award winner Payne, the director of ‘Sideways’ and ‘The Descendants’.
