MOVIE TIME – India Box Office

Hola Gcaffians. This weekend India celebrates Holi – the festival of colours. G Caffe wishes all of you a very happy Holi and a joyful weekend. On Box Office this week, we see romance, action and a sci-fi movie.

A Yash Raj Films presentation, directed by Nupur Asthana, Bewakoofiyaan is a romantic comedy. The cast includes Ayushmann Khurrana, Sonam Kapoor and Rishi Kapoor. Music is by Raghu Dixit and the lyrics are by Anvita Dutt. The story is about a boy and a girl who love each other and are ready to marry. Life is smooth until the boy meets the girl’s father, played by Rishi Kapoor.

The safe-playing sarkari V.K. Sehgal (Rishi Kapoor) does not believe in love and makes it his mission to find out how much the boy earns. According to this villain father, only a rich man can bring his daughter happiness and a mid level executive like Mohit (played by Ayushmann) simply isn’t good enough! And so the adventure begins in this story that  has been written by the versatile writer/director Habib Faisal.

3 DAYS TO KILL (English):

Directed by McG, 3 Days to kill is American/French action thriller and the cast includes Kevin Costner, Amber Heard and Hailee Steinfield. The story is of an international spy who gives up his high stakes life to finally build a closer relationship with his estranged wife and daughter whom he had previously kept at arm’s length to keep out of danger. But first, he must complete one last mission – even if it means juggling the two toughest assignments yet: hunting down the world’s most ruthless terrorist and looking after his teenage daughter for the first time in 10 years, while his wife is out of town.

Battle of the DamnedThis American action sci-fi film, directed by Christopher Hatton, tells the story of Max, starring Dolph Lundgren, who says, “This time I’m up against virus-infected human zombies, ‘Eaters’ as we call them. Max is sent into an infected, abandoned city to find the daughter of a rich industrialist. He gets more than he bargained for. ‘I wish I would’ve asked for more money’, in Max’s own words.

As we look forward to a colourful weekend, I wish you all the best always. Let all your woes be washed away and let the colour of love make you glow forever. Happy Holi.
