MOVIE TIME – India Box Office

Movie releases this week in India:

2 STATES (Hindi):

2-StatesIt has to be must watch for the Indians who are having an overdose of Alia Bhatt and Arjun Kapoor in all kinds of promotions for this film based on Chetan Bhagat’s novel by the same name. Directed by Abhishek Varman, 2 States also serves the brilliance of Amrita Singh and Revathi in the movie. Along with them we have Ronit Roy, Shiv Subramanium and Achint Kaur.

It’s a love story of a Punjabi boy and a Tamil girl; basically about the nonacceptance between the two families coming from two different cultures who are not willing to bow down before the bond their children share. So does love win over hate for each other or do they give up and accept their fate? Romance and comedy are guaranteed though.

It’s a comedy-drama. Produced by Sunil Lulla and Feroz Abbas Khan. Directed by Feroz Abbas Khan. Cast: Satish Kaushik, Tanvi Azmi, Vinay Jain, Sharad Ponkshe, Ganesh Yadav, Santosh Juwekar, Apoorva Arora, Alok Rajwade, Satish Alekar and Jayant Wadkar.

The film is a satire on the Indian political scenario today. What a timing of its release as General Elections are underway in the country. They are saying it’s a true story revolving around the search for the religious identity of a poor man crushed under the weight of a politician’s hoarding.

Lucky-KabootarA comedy film by director Shammi Chhabra features Eijaz Khan, Kulraj Randhawa, Sanjay Mishra, Ravi Kishan and Shraddha Das.

Double meaning dialogues in plenty, Lucky Kabootar centres around the luck of a guy named Lucky who is married and settled down. Then his wife’s past comes back to haunt them and what follows is a laugh riot.

TranscendenceJohnny Depp, Rebecca Hall and Morgan Freeman in this astounding science fiction mystery thriller ‘Transcendence’ which is the directorial debut of cinematographer Wally Pfister. Transcendence which means an experience or existence beyond the normal physical level is what Prof. Will Caster experiences in this film.
