MOVIE TIME – India Box Office

Last two weeks have seen many a falls and rises in football. Some made history in the FIFA World Cup 2014 which will be remembered for years to come, as many a movies released during the period became history too. Could you watch some of them? This week, as the football temperature rises further, we see the much awaited Transformers releasing along with Ek Villain.

Age of ExtinctionThe wait is over! Transformers: Age of Extinction is in theaters and is expected to break Box Office records. Its stars have already walked the red carpet at the world premieres in Hong Kong, Beijing, Shanghai and NYC, receiving immense public support.

Director Michael Bay, film composer Steve Jablonsky and Paramount Pictures have collaborated with the Grammy Award-winning band Imagine Dragons to feature the band’s original music in the film. Imagine Dragons’ original song “Battle Cry” has been used in critical points in the film. Further, collaboration between Jablonsky and Hans Zimmer for the sake of music has also resulted in added depth to the sound of the film, which has to be experienced.

Clearly, one of the most anticipated movies of the summer, it is both a sequel and a reboot with Mark Wahlberg starring in this fourth Autobots epic where mankind is again at the risk of being destroyed. See it to find out if we can change anything into anything!

The movie series is based on the Hasbro toys and TV series and begins after a great battle left a great city torn. The first film, Transformers, was released in 2007, the second, Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, in 2009, and the third, Transformers: Dark of the Moon in 2011. Watch out for this new war of good and evil in a theatre near you.

By the way, have you have ever thought what will happen if giant shaped shifting aliens try to destroy your city! To tell you a truth, during shooting in Hong Kong last October, director Bay was attacked by two brothers demanding money. One of them even confronted him with an air conditioner unit. Oops!

EK VILLAIN (Hindi) | Genre – Action/Romance | Starring – Sidharth Malhotra, Shraddha Kapoor, Prachi Desai and Riteish Deshmukh.

??????????Who is the villain? A sleepless boy working for a politician meets and proposes a girl leading to a twist that triggers a mystery. Director Mohit Suri is renowned for his inimitable cult films some of them being Woh Lamhe, Zeher, Awarapan, Raaz-2, and the recent Aashiqui-2, and this occasion Balaji has teamed up with him on his first directorial feature outside the Mukesh Bhatt and Mahesh Bhatt banner.

The movie also pairs Sidharth and Shraddha for the first time. Won’t you see their chemistry on screen! Central Board of Film Certification cleared the film with a more than half-a-dozen cuts and some action sequences have also been toned down. Hope the villain’s role remains intact in sync with the film.

And after Aashiqui 2 soundtrack success, director Suri has roped in Mithoon and Ankit Tiwari to compose music for the movie which also has a version by lead actress Shraddha Kapoor debuting as a playback singer.
