Movie Time – India Box Office

Days come days go by, just like that. Life is on a pace and we all must keep up. Whatever might happen, movies will be released every week without fail and that is the best part about every weekend.

22 Jump StreetEvery Friday, a scrumptious cuisine of Hollywood and Bollywood is laid out for all of us, and this week we have 22 Jump Street, Lucy and Hercules.

22 JUMP STREET (English): Genre: Comedy | Director:  Phil Lord & Christopher Miller | Cast: Jonah Hill and Channing Tatum

A sequel to 21 Jump Street comes after two years. Directed by Phil Lord and Christopher Miller, 22 Jump Street brings Morton Schmidt and Greg Jenko who are under cover police officers.

This time they are out on the roads to catch some drug dealers so they take admission in a college as students and try to catch the miscreants.

In the main lead we have Jonah Hill and Channing Tatum who were the main lead in the prequel 21 Jump Street also. So the two dumbwit officers are out in a college under cover trying to uncover an underworld racket who deal in drugs. Will they succeed?

Lucy

LUCY (English): Genre: Science Fiction Thriller | Director: Luc Besson | Cast: Scarlett Johansson, Morgan Freeman, Amr Waked and Choi Min-Sik

This is a science fiction thriller which keeps you on the edge of the seat with nail biting action. Scarlett Johansson and Morgan Freeman are the main lead in ‘Lucy’.

The story unfolds in Taiwan where Lucy (played by Scarlett) is dragged into a dangerous drug racket. A packet of synthetic drug called CPH4 is hidden into her stomach to be transported to the leader of the gang.

While in prison where she is tortured, accidentally the drug bag in her stomach explodes and so she acquires mental and physical inhuman capabilities and is able to time travel and read the minds of people… but if she is unable to stop this process she will die soon.

And hence begins the chase …

Hercules

HERCULES (English): Genre: Adventure | Director: Brett Ratner | Cast: Dwayne Johnson, Ian McShane, Rufus Sewell, Joseph Fiennes and John Hurt

The man with a cause is stronger than God and that is what Hercules is. The legend is back again on the big screen.

The Rock is again in action. Herclues, who is a demi-God, the son of the Greek God Zues, rejects the family as he was betrayed. He lives the life of a mortal eventually, and is called to defend the kingdom against evil forces.

A historical adventure presented in 3D truly takes one back in that century.

So hold on to your seats. This Friday all three releases are full of thrills and adventure of three different kinds. Any reviews… do let us know.
