Roy, MSG: The Messenger and Love Rosie are released this Valentine week on India Box Office.
‘Roy‘ is story of a film maker, a thief and their mutual love interest. Ranbir Kapoor is back on screen after ‘Besharam’ in October 2013, as a thief in this film with Arjun Rampal and Jacqueline Fernandez in the main lead along with Anupam Kher and Shibani Dandekar.
Hrithik Roshan and Aamir Khan have already done such roles of playing thieves in ‘Dhoom’ series earlier. The grapevine says Ranbir is not happy that this movie is being promoted as an RK starrer film whereas, it is Arjun Rampal and Jacqueline Fernandez movie. He is barely there in the film.
Arjun Rampal plays a film maker who makes films on the heists Ranbir pulls off and surprisingly no one is able to catch him. Jacqueline plays a double role, one of a film maker and the other of a glamorous globetrotter.
Roy is directed by a newcomer Vikramjit Singh and has been making waves through its music. ‘Tu hai ke nahin’, ‘Sooraj dooba hai’,’ Boond Boond’, ‘Yaara Re’, and the latest ‘Chittiyaan Kalaiyaan’ are on the top in the list of chart-busters. Music is rendered by Ankit Tewari, Meet Ajaan Brothers and Amaal Malik.

MSG: The Messenger, directed by Gurmit Ram Rahim Singh and Jeetu Arora, is the story of a Guru who takes the responsibility of dealing with issues like drugs and alcoholism affecting the youth.
The Guru’s initiative doesn’t go very well with the people in the busines and so they are out to kill the man who is ruining them. MSG also promotes blood donation and is shot in a 70’s style film with a bad man and a good man fighting for a cause.
The film had to face a controversy before its release this Friday so much so that the Censor Board saw a lot of shuffle due to MSG. Gurmit Ram Rahim Singh, the controversial spiritual group Dera Sacha Sauda head, is playing the lead role as the Guru and along with him is Daniel Kaleb and Flora Saini.
Till next week … ciao. Happy Valentine’s Day people. Spend the day with your loved ones and catch up some movies in the theatre before the next week releases.
