Movie Time – India Box Office

There comes a time in the blogging world when you tend to wonder … does anyone read what you write? I bet all bloggers who ramble feel this. I also do at times, but then I remember, blogging is not about keeping a check on who is reading. It is about spreading words on the net, about reaching out, about clearing out your confused mind. Who knows someone might actually be benefiting by what one writes.

When I started Movie Time, which brings you the movies which are to be released that weekend, initial speculations did surround me, but then you see Einstein did not know that he would be called history for ever more… did he? One must keep creating and that is what counts.

Now to what we shall see this weekend on the India Box Office:

INSIDE OUT: An animated film, directed by Pete Docter, this is the story of a little girl Riley, who moves with her parents to a new city. The transition is personified by five emotions inside her head being joy, anger, disgust, sadness and fear. She faces a tough time as she settles down in the new town.

The movie features Amy Poehler, Phyllis Smith, Richard Kind, Bill Hader, Lewis Black, Mindy Kaling and Kaitlyn Dias.

CHILD 44: Directed by Daniel Espinosa, the film is based on the best selling novel by the same name. It is the 1950’s and Leo, a Soviet Russian secret agent and his wife are exiled to a provincial outpost. They start working with Gen. Mikhail to capture a serial killer who kills small children.

The film features Tom Hardy, Gary Oldman and Noomi Rapace.

INSIDIOUS CHAPTER 3: Directed by Leigh Whannell, it is a prequel to the first two films in the Insidious series. Quinn Brenner realises that her dead mother is trying to get in touch with her, she goes to Elise who is a psychic and can make contact with the dead.  For some gruesome past Elise is unable to do that. Quinn is attacked by evil spirits and then her father takes control and with the help of Elise they help Quinn.

The film features Dermot Mulroney, Stefanie Scott, Angus Sampson and  Lin Shaye.

We also have two Hindi movies, Uvaa and Miss Tanakpur Hazir Ho.

Uvaa: Directed by Jasbir Bhatti, it is the story of five crazy boys who are witness to a murder and move forward with full zest to help find the murderer. They face lots of dangers in this journey of finding the truth but they display courage and solidarity. The film features Om Puri, Sanjay Mishra, Jimmy Sheirgill and Archana Puran Singh along with five new boys.

Miss Tanakpur Hazir Ho
