Movie Time – India Box Office

Movies releasing this week are Katti Batti, Everest, Black Mass, Pawn Sacrifice, MSG2 and Meeruthiya Gangsters.

248089efddf2cce5536e1ef051a6bf9eKatti Batti is a romantic comedy film directed by Nikhil Advani and produced by Siddharth Roy Kapur under the banner of UTV Motion Pictures. The film stars Kangana Ranaut and Imran Khan in the lead roles. This is also dubbed as anti-love story for the movie revolves around a live-in relationship that suddenly witnesses turn of events.

Shankar Ehsaan Loy have composed the music & lyrics are penned by Kumaar. Interestingly, the credits for cinematography has been given to Tushar Kapoor.

Everest_posterEverest is 3D biographical disaster drama and adventure thriller film
directed by Baltasar Kormakur and written by William Nicholson and Simon Beaufoy. 
This New Zealand-American film stars Jason Clarke, Josh Brolin, John Hawkes, Robin Wright, Michael Kelly, Sam Worthington, Keira Knightley, Emily Watson, and Jake Gyllenhaal.

It is based on the real events of the 1996 Mount Everest disaster, and focuses on the survival attempts of two expedition groups, one led by Scott Fischer (Gyllenhaal) and the other by Rob Hall (Clarke). Won’t you watch it in 3D, to relive the experience from the base camp to the summit!

ET00025348Meeruthiya Gangsters is Crime – Comedy film directed and produced by Zeishan Quadri. Anurag Kashyap also claims to have edited the movie which is inspired by the high number of extortion cases in Meerut city.

Then, we also have sequel to Messenger of God in MSG2, which is a must see for god man  Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh’s disciples.

Pawn Sacrifice is also releasing in theatres. This is an American biographical thriller film directed by Edward Zwick and written by Steven Knight. It stars Tobey Maguire as Bobby Fischer, Liev Schreiber as Boris Spassky, and Lily Rabe as Joan Fischer.

ET00028056Another American crime film releasing this week is Black Mass, directed by Scott Cooper and written by Mark Mallouk and Jez Butterworth, based on the 2001 book Black Mass: The True Story of an Unholy Alliance Between the FBI and the Irish Mob by Dick Lehr and Gerard O’Neill.

The film stars Johnny Depp, Joel Edgerton, Benedict Cumberbatch, Kevin Bacon, Jesse Plemons, Peter Sarsgaard, Rory Cochrane, Adam Scott, Dakota Johnson, and Corey Stoll.
