Movie Time – India Box Office

This week we have:

kunal-khemu-bhaag-johnny-75BHAAG JOHNNY: Directed by Shivam Nair, the film stars the child prodigy Kunal Khemu, Iranian actress Mandana Karimi, Zoa Morani and Mansi Scott. Kunal Khemu plays a Casanova who lives with the ‘I don’t care’ attitude and plays with life. A sudden twist of fate, brings him to such a turn where he has to choose between life and death. He is given the option of living two lives at the same time and then he can choose what he wants. 

Kunal Khemu is back after Go Goa Gone (2013) and this is his first movie after his marriage to Soha Ali Khan with the hope that he can carry a good movie on his shoulders.

The music of Bhaag Johnny has been making waves in the industry. ‘Iss qadar pyar hai’, ‘Kinna Sona’, ‘Ankhon Ankhon’ and the revamped Telugu song ‘Daddy Mummy’ are rocking the charts. Music is composed by Mithoon, Arko Parvo, Devi Sri Prasad and YoYo Honey Singh. Ankit Tewari, YoYo Honey Singh, Rahul Vaidya and Sunil Kamath are the lead singers in the film.

396319-kkpk-newKIS KISKO PYAR KAROON: Directed by Abbas-Mastaan, the movie stars Kapil Sharma, Elli Avram, Manjari Fadnis, Simran Kaur Mundi, Varun Sharma and Arbaaz Khan.

Kapil Sharma who made a big name on the small screen as a comedian debuts in Bollywood with Kis Kisko Pyar Karoon. He plays the role of a man who ends up being married to three women at the same time. None of them know about each other. Now his heart beats for one more who is the love of his life. The most difficult part is to keep them away from each other. And that is when the adventure begins!

TIMEOUT: Directed by Rikhil Bahadur, the film debuts Chirag Malhotra, Pranay Pachauri and Kaamya Sharma. The film is the story of friendship and love between two brothers.

CALENDER GIRLS: Directed by Madhur Bhandarkar, the film stars Akanksha Puri, Avani Modi, Kyra Dutt, Ruhi Singh, Satarupa Pyne, Suhel Seth and Ronit Roy. The film says the story of struggle of five girls, their entry into the glam world, their rise and then the downfall. The film shows how working in this profession is still considered a taboo. The parents feel ashamed to tell the community about what their girls are doing.

theinternTHE INTERN: Directed by Nancy Meyers, the film stars Robert De Niro, Anne Hathaway, Adam DeVine, Nat Wolff, Christina Scherer, Anders Holm, and Zack Pearlman. The story is about how a senior becomes an intern in a firm.

Anne Hathaway is the founder and CEO of a fashion based e-commerce company. She agrees to a community outreach program where a senior, Robert De Niro, will intern at the firm. It is the awkwardly beautiful relationship they will share in this programme.

Maze-Runner-2THE MAZE RUNNER: THE SCORCH TRAILS: Directed by Wes Ball, the film stars Dylan O’Brien, Thomas Brodie-Sangster, Ki Hong Lee, Kaya Scodelario, and Patricia Clarkson. A sequel to the 2014 film ‘The Maze Runner,’ this is the second instalment in The Maze Runner film trilogy.

It is the story of a bunch of teenagers who survived the maze and are out in the real world. This time they are fighting a virus which is turning people into Zombies. Will they be able to save the world?
