This week we have Snoopy and Charlie Brown – The Peanuts Movie, and The Silent Heroes while the past week releases are still being screened in theatres ahead of some mega releases coming up.
The Peanuts Movie is a 3D animated comedy film based on Charles M. Schulz’s comic strip Peanuts. Directed by Steve Martino, it is written by Schulz’s son and grandson Craig and Bryan, respectively, and Cornelius Uliano. It is the fifth full-length Peanuts film, and the first feature film in 35 years. It commemorates the 65th anniversary of the comic strip and 50th anniversary of the TV special A Charlie Brown Christmas. The film sees Charlie Brown trying to improve his odds with the Little Red-Haired Girl. Meanwhile, Snoopy writes a book about the Flying Ace, as he imagines himself as a legend trying to save his love interest and pilot, Fifi, from the Red Baron and his army.
The Silent Heroes showcases fictional story of 13 deaf children from a school in Uttarakhand who want to work on something which shall bring them respect and that the world shall look up to them. Has it been made into an adventurous thriller, then? One thing is guaranteed – the film has been shot at beautiful locations of Himalayan Mountains. Let’s then cheer up the differently-abled children in an empowering light.
Till, next week when we have Dilwale and Bajirao Mastani set for title clash in theatres… take care and be ready for the Christmas!
