The releases this Friday at the India Box Office:
DO LAFZON KI KAHANI
They say a man will do anything for love and Randeep Hooda surely proves this right in his upcoming movie ‘Do Lafzon Ki Kahani’. After doing some off-beat films and being appreciated for his performance in the recently released ‘Sarabjit’, Randeep will now be seen romancing in the rain. Along with romance he will also be breaking some jaws and bones in this film.
He is an ex-boxer who has a dark past and she (Kajal Aggarwal) is an artist who turns blind after an accident. The film is the story of their love for each other despite all the differences. It is loosely based on the Korean movie ‘Always’ in which a blind girl falls in love with a parking attendant. The next day when she comes there is a new boy there. But as she is blind she is unable to make out the change and they fall in love.
Do Lafzon Ki Kahani has Randeep and Kajal in the lead roles, apart from them, the film also features Yuri Suri and Mamik Singh. Directed by Deepak Tijori, the film has average music, except for one song ‘Jeena Sikha Diya’ which is hummable.
Anjela Roy is kidnapped and disappears for 8 years. This destroys the life of two men, John Biswas who is Anjela’s grandfather and Martin who is the police inspector who handles the case. Martin quits the case but John refuses to do so and seeks justice till date.
Now after 8 years a similar case of kidnapping surfaces and a new inspector Sarita takes over. Sarita tries to convince Martin to help her as he is familiar with the earlier case. Will they succeed in saving this life or not? Will John ever unite with his granddaughter?
Directed by Ribhu Dasgutpa, is also remake of a Korean film, Montage and features Amitabh Bachchan, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Vidya Balan and Sabyasachi Chakraborty.
THE CONJURING 2
Horror is one thing that a very few fancy and frankly it does give goose bumps to many. This film is not for the weak hearted. The Conjuring was released in 2013 and it became one of the best in horror genre. Now comes the sequel ‘The Conjuring 2’, and takes us back to 1977.
Peggy is a single mother who lives with her four children in the Enfield Council House which is haunted. Slowly the youngest daughter starts showing signs of being possessed by the evil forces. The paranormal investigators Ed and Lorraine are called for help to the Enfield house. Little did they know that they will be endangering their lives too.
Directed by James Wan, this sequel features Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga from prequel ‘The Conjuring’. Francis ‘O Connor and Robin Atkin Downes are the new faces in this sequel.
The most important thing for any race is survival and for that they will go to any length. As the Orc clan realizes that their world is dying they use some dark magic to enter the human world through a portal. As they enter Azeroth the human space, they face fierce resistance from King Llane, Lothar and Medivh. Who ultimately wins the war is to be decided by destiny!
The film has some amazing visual effects and is based on a video game of the same name.
Directed by Duncan Jones, the film features Travis Fimmel, Paula Patton, Ben Foster, Dominic Cooper, Toby Kebbell, Ben Schnetzer, Robert Kazinskyand and Daniel Wu.
