Force 2, Tum Bin 2 brings another week of sequels

Last week we saw sequels of Rock On and Chaar Sahibzaade and this week is no different. In the latest releases we have ‘Force 2’ and ‘Tum Bin 2’ along with ‘Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them’ and ‘Shut In’.

John Abraham is back with Force part two and this time we see Sonakshi Sinha as a RAW agent who is tagged along with him. Well, we do catch a sweet fleeting glimpse of Genelia in this version of Force. The story is about a man who is called by RAW to help them out in countering a man who is out to kill the officers in the agency. But John who is hardened by the death of his wife five years ago refuses to follow any norms of the agency and makes his own rules.

Directed by Abhinay Deo, the film features John Abraham, Sonakshi Sinha and Tahir Raj Bhasin in lead roles.

A sequel to Tum Bin (2001) is out this weekend after a long gap of 15 years. Taran and Amar love each other madly and make plans to spend a lifetime together not knowing that life had different plans for them. The untimely death of Amar shatters the life of Taran and she takes the shoulder of Shekhar to ease her pain. Eventually Shekhar and Taran decide to start a life together and that is when fate twists everything in the wrong direction.

Directed by Anubhav Sinha the film features Neha Sharma, Aditya Seal and Aashim Gulati in lead roles.

The director Sinha who is associated with the film for the last 15 years speaks very fondly… “‘Tum Bin’ has been a franchise that has been close to my heart because it carved my journey in the film industry as a director. This Friday, expect to be mesmerised by timeless music, aesthetic screenplay and impactful dialogues. Come fall in love all over again.”


The film travels to a time when a decade and a half before Harry Potter learns wizardry, writer and Magizoologist Newt Scamander walks on the streets of New York with a suitcase full of beasts and creatures. Well, chaos follows when some of them escape out in the open.

Directed by David Yates the film is written by J. K. Rowling and stars Eddie Redmayne, Katherine Waterston, Dan Fogler, Alison Sudol, Ezra Miller and Colin Farrell.

This is the story of Dr. Mary Portman, a psychologist who loses her husband in an accident. Her son gets paralyzed in the  same accident and she is left alone in the house to look after her incapacitated son. It is then she starts hallucinating that there is someone in the house or is that for real?

Directed by Farren Blackburn, the film stars Naomi Watts, Oliver Platt, Charlie Heaton, Jacob Tremblay and Clémentine Poidatz.
