barefoot-to-goa-film-2014BAREFOOT TO GOA:

A film about loneliness, futility of life, pointlessness of death of values and belief but not about sadness. Director Praveen Morchhale takes us on a journey of an indulgent relationship showing the love between a grandparent and a grandchild. The film features Ajay Chourey, Farrukh Jaffar, Saara Nahar, Ish Morchhale, Purva Parag and Kuldeep Singh.

A very interesting story is attached to the release of the film. Morchhale’s film had acclaimed a lot of appreciation in India at 12 film festivals but he could not muster the funds for the film’s release. The director played a risk and borrowed Rs. 50 Lakhs from his fans.

He decided that a part of the proceedings will go to Help Age India, a charity organisation for the elderly. 240 people contributed through Morchhale’s Proud Funding Campaign, and the director claimed that this was the first time ever in India that the public helped fund a feature film’s release.

“I thank you all for helping me in raising funds to release the movie ‘Barefoot To Goa’ in theatres so it can reach the maximum audience possible. The film is creating ripples at film festivals across the world and now its real journey, to theatres across India, begins. This story has never before been told on screen,” he said.

EK PAHELI LEELA:

Directed by Bobby Khan Ek Paheli Leela is a musical thriller starring Sunny Leone, Jay Bhanushali, Rajneesh Duggal and Jas Arora. The film has 8 songs out of which 6 of them have Sunny Leone who will be seen in all sort of avatars. The music is by Amaal Mallik and the dances are choreographed by Saroj Khan and Ahmed Khan. A film about Sunny Leone that’s it!

DHARAM SANKAT MEIN:

A remake of the British comedy film The Infidel, Dharam Sankat Mein is directed by Fuwad Khan and features Paresh Rawal, Naseeruddin Shah and Annu Kapoor. A comedy film which is the story of Dharampal who is a caterer in Ahemdabad. He is a Hindu Brahmin who discovers that he is actually biologically a Muslim when he discovers the adoption papers his late mother left for him. And so begins the adventure of his discovery of life.
